Overview

The NexSens C-Boost is a cellular signal booster
for use in conjunction with a 3100-iSIC data
logger. It provides a significant boost in signal
quality to allow for data transmission in remote
locations.

Assembly

The
main
components
assembled before shipment, but a few final
connections must be made prior to deployment.
Quick instructions are provided in this guide. Visit
the online Knowledge Base for more information
(see Additional Information section).

iSIC Power Cable Wiring

The first step is to connect the power cable to the
3100-iSIC.
Before beginning, disconnect any external
power sources such as solar panels or
external batteries.
Loosen the retained screws and disconnect the
DB9 Serial Cable that runs from below the
mounting plate to the connector in the middle of
the terminal strips.

Disconnect
the
terminals. Remove the (2) screws from the
battery plate with a #3 Phillips head screwdriver.
Remove the battery.
