The behavior of the logically-bonded ports depends upon the mode. For the RDX QuikStation 4, you can configure port bonding for active backup/failover, adaptive load balancing, or dynamic link aggregation. USB: password.reset Insert the USB flash drive that was included in your RDX QuikStation 4 accessory kit box into your computer. If you cannot find the flash drive, you can use any USB flash drive that is formatted with a VFAT32 or NTFS file system.

The disk set, if complete, may be imported into this or any other RDX QuikStation 4. When a Fixed Disk RDX Logical Volume is ejected, the Logical Devices will show no logical volumes. When a Removable Disk RDX Logical Volume is ejected, a logical volume will still exist since the emulated RDX Doc still exists.

HAPTER HYSICAL EVICE ANAGEMENT Viewing Physical Device Properties The following RDX dock properties are displayed when you select an RDX dock in the left pane of the Physical Device interface. Select the Source RDX media from the pulldown menu. Select the Destination RDX media from the pulldown menu. Note: The iSCSI targets related to the source and destination RDX media will be offline during the cloning process. Click [Start]. The RDX QuikStation begins the cloning process. You can monitor the progress of the cloning job in the bottom-right corner of the Physical Device interface.
If you need to do a hard shut down, press and hold the power button on the front of the RDX QuikStation 4 for 10 seconds. Important: Before you shut down the system for any reason, make sure there are no active host connections to the iSCSI targets.
Generating System Logs There are three levels of system logs that may be generated from the RDX QuikStation 4: Normal, Detail, and Extend (see page 46). System logs are encrypted and only intended for use by Tandberg Data technical support. You do not need to generate a system log unless you are instructed to do so by Tandberg Data technical support.

The Options dialog window opens with the Removable Disk tab selected. Select [Diagnostics] to view the Diagnostics tab. HAPTER YSTEM AINTENANCE Manually Updating Firmware When you sign in as an administrator user, the RDX QuikStation detects the firmware version (see page 46). If your system is not running the most current version, the RDX QuikStation prompts you to update the firmware. If you choose to update, the system automatically installs the new firmware version.
Using a USB Flash Drive for System Tasks The RDX QuikStation 4 ships with a USB flash drive that you can use to perform many system tasks. If the RDX QuikStation 4 flash drive is unavailable, you can use any USB flash drive that is formatted with a VFAT32 or NTFS file system.
