The layout is basically the same for Real Fires Log and Coal Layout all models with logs and coals decreased or increased in width to suit the size of fi re. (The pilot ignition assembly has been omitted from the drawing).

This model does not need a fl ue system; however there are important considerations to be made prior to installation.

Location The Real Fires SS900 Flued gas fi re is designed to be installed in sheltered outdoor situations. Exposed locations are not suitable.

    As the Real Fires SS900 outdoor fi re is for installation into masonry only, twin wall fl ue is not required. Flue bends are available from Real Fires if the fl ue needs to be o set as shown in installation drawing.

To make the gas connec- tion, place the burner into the fi rebox so that the back of the burner is touching the back of the fi rebox and is po- sitioned central.
