    2.1.1 CHANNEL MEMORY IC INITIALIZATION TOP PREVIOUS NEXT When replacing the Memory IC7801 and/or Oscillator X6001, Memory IC7801 has to be initialized due to the setting value changes. Note: When replacing the memory IC7801, the OSD microprocessor IC7703 should be replaced together.

    2.1.2 CHECKING OF MAIN C.B.A. TOP PREVIOUS NEXT When servicing the MAIN C.B.A., take out the MAIN C.B.A. and mechanism from the frame and turn over. And then connect the Extension Cable (VFK2744) between the POWER C.B.A. connector (P1103) and the MAIN C.B.A.

    2.1.3 CYLINDER UNIT REPLACEMENT TOP PREVIOUS NEXT CYLINDER UINT REPLACEMENT Remove the 3 Screws (A) of the CLINDER UNIT with a magnetized screw driver. Fig. S4 UPPER CYLINDER DISASSEMBLY Remove 2 screws (A). Remove the Cylinder Stator Unit. Fig. S5 Remove 2 screws (B).
  • Page 12 Loose hex screw (C) (1.5mm) and remove the Cylinder Retainer. Remove the Upper Cylinder. Fig. S7 UPPER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY Install the Cylinder Retainer so that the 2 holes on top of the Cylinder Retainer are at right angles with the Head Amp Shield. Tighten the hex screw (C) (1.5mm) while pressing down on top of the Cylinder Retainer.

Service Information Display Operation Press the FF and EJECT keys simultaneosly for 3 seconds and set the Service Mode 7. Press STOP key in order to rotate the Loading Motor for unloading operation.
