• After the last memory location occupied, the compu-
ter shows the average of all readings saved on press-
ing the memory button M 3 again.
• To switch off, press the Start/Stop button 4 again.
• If you forget to switch off the computer, it will switch
off automatically after 3 minutes.

7. Rectifying faults

Error messages can occur when
• cuff inflation takes longer than 25 seconds (ERR2
appears in the display),
• you move during the measurement instead of relaxing
quietly (ERR1 appears in the display),
• insufficient pressure is reached despite extra inflation
ERR2 appears in the display),
• the blood pressure readings are extremely high or low
(ERR1 appears in the display),
• the inflation pressure is higher than 330 mmHg (error
message ERR 330),
• the batteries are almost exhausted, the batteries must
then be exchanged.
In the about cases, you must repeat the measurement.
Make sure that the cuff tube is properly inserted and that
you do not move or talk. Put the batteries back in if neces-
sary, or else replace them.

8. Cleaning and Care

• Clean your blood pressure computer carefully using
only a slightly moistened cloth.
• Do not use any detergents or solvents.
• Never hold the instrument under water as otherwise
liquid can penetrate and damage the instrument.
• Never place any heavy objects on the instrument.
