• Setting/editing into memory/edition of the connection parameters (provided by your operator) Before starting, if you have not already done so, set the date and time on your Mondo. Your Mondo enables you to access WAP services by using a standard GSM (circuit) connection or a fast GPRS (packet) connection.
Page 58
- Creation of a profile with access by the GSM network alone: When a connection is made with this type of profile, your Mondo uses GSM (of the circuit type) to establish the WAP connection. If the GSM service is not available (for example, if you are outside of GSM cover), the connection will not be made.
Page 59
- Creation of a profile with access by the GPRS network alone: When a connection is made with this type of profile, your Mondo uses GPRS support (of the packet type) to establish the WAP connection. If the GPRS service is not available, the connection will not be made.
Page 60
When a connection is made with this type of profile, the first medium tried by your Mondo is that which you have defined beforehand in the WAP settings (Preferred medium). If connection is impossible using this support, the other support will be tried automatically.
