    As the refrigerant evaporates from a liquid into a gas it absorbs the heat from the warm air. The COMPRESSOR then compresses the refrigerant gas and pumps it through the outer tube in the CONDENSER COIL. The heat from the refrigerant is exchanged to the condenser and discharged out of the dome.

PUBLIC LAW 101-549 TITLE IV SECTION 608-C. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN SEVERE PENALTIES, INCLUDING FINES AND IMPRISONMENT.

    Set the temperature (set point) to 85ºF by using the UP or DOWN buttons. Verify that there is steady airflow out of the supply air grille. If the unit does not appear to be operating properly, refer to troubleshooting guidelines.

    HEAT LED: NOT USED ON RADOME A/C. DISPLAY WINDOW: Shows current temperature. Also used in viewing and setting program parameters. AIR SENSOR: Dome temperature is detected by the face plate air sensor, located in the bottom edge of the display.

    AUTOMATIC FAN MODE: NOT USED ON RADOME A/C. MANUAL FAN MODE: NOT USED ON RADOME A/C. CIRCULATION MODE (FAN ONLY): NOT USED ON RADOME A/C. PROGRAMMING THE PASSPORT I/O The program mode is used to adjust the systems operating parameters to suit the particular needs of individual applications.

    PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETERS: There are 15 programmable parameters with their Factory Default Settings listed in this section. The table below indicates what these parameters are, along with the permitted values and the original settings.   • Page 10 When a fault is detected Passport I/O will display one of the following Mnemonic fault codes: “HPF”… Indicates high Freon pressure. “LPF”… Indicates low Freon pressure. “ASF”… Indicates failed air sensor. There are four fail safe levels: Failsafe Level 0: Only “ASF” detected and displayed. The control will shut down and will not restart until the fault is repaired.

    Set point should be 85°F. ambient temperature. Passport I/O programmed for Reprogram parameter P-1 for cooling. heat. Obstructed condenser air flow. Check for obstructions at condenser air inlet. Fan is not running. See below. Coil is iced. See below. “HPF” is displayed on panel.

    THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED. The Radome a/c unit and its components are warranted for a period of one (1) years from the date of installation, not to exceed two (2) years from the date of manufacture. Labor is not covered.
