    LTC 2600 Series SECTION 2: INSTALLING THE VIDEO MULTIPLEXER 2.1 Mounting The multiplexer is supplied as a desktop unit. If desired the unit may be rack mounted using the included rack mount kit. 2.2 Connecting the Video Multiplexer System 1. Refer to Figures 2A and 2B for details on the input/output connections supplied by the multiplexer.

To access the menu screens, press the ALT key 6. The Main Menu (as shown below) displays two setup options: Quick Setup and Advanced Setup.

    SECTION 3: OPERATING THE LTC 2600 SERIES VIDEO 3.1 Guide to Multiplexer Operation Operating the LTC 2600 Series Video Multiplexer requires a general knowledge of basic and combined operating modes as described in this section. Basic operating modes are: LIVE (Display), RECORD, and PLAYBACK. Duplex multiplexer models provide combinations of the basic modes (e.g.

This information is not necessary for typical, day-to-day operations of the multiplexer (see Sections 2 and 3).

    4.3 Action Setup The LTC 2600 Series multiplexer includes a Digital Motion Detection feature that detects movement within the camera scene. When this feature is programmed and motion is detected, the record/display rates will increase. Using the ACTION LIST facility, the priority of recording can be changed to include recording of camera pictures and at the same time prioritize picture display on the monitor.

    4.7 Configure Setups The LTC 2600 Series multiplexer has the capability to provide up to six individually configured setups that are retained in the multiplexer memory. By using these setups, the multiplexer can be programmed to automatically change its mode of operation based on a timer setting.
