Figure 3 – The Static IP Address tab can be used to set a static IP on the device. Note: Each box in this screen [Figure 3] may have static settings for the controller. However, ensure you input the correct information for use on your network so the controller will function properly. Do not assign the controller an IP on your network that is already in use.

6) - Now unplug your laptop from Port 1. Plug the networking equipment you wish to set up to either port 2, 3, or 4. Connect the other end of the cable into your computer and use an application like Putty to gain access by setting your baud as 115200, data bits as 8, and the stop bit as 1, with no flow control.
