2.3 Hardware Installation
1. Insert the SIM/USIM card into the USB Modem:
Your USIM card stores your service details, phonebook and text messages. You
can obtain it from a mobile phone service provider when you sign on as a
subscriber.
To install SIM/USIM card
Remove the modem cap, then the USB connector is visible.
Pull out the plastic socket above the USB connector and you can hear a
click when the SIM/USIM card gets unlocked.
Note: Do not pull the socket rudely. Otherwise the socket will get damaged.
Insert the SIM/USIM card into the socket, here make sure that the cut
corners of the card orientated as shown in the following picture.
