Lubrication and Maintenance Maintenance Schedule Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure optimum performance and extend the service life of the unit. The table below shows the items that require regular maintenance and the frequency at which each should be serviced. Ensure that the engine is stopped before you begin any maintenance or repairs. - Page 10 Lubrication and Maintenance Air Cleaner Service A dirty filter will restrict air flow to the carburettor and reduce engine power. Operating without the Fuel Valve air cleaner fitted or with a damaged filter will allow dirt to enter the engine causing rapid wear, which will not be covered under warranty.
