1. Produktbeschreibung 1.1 Allgemeines Die Ethernet-Switches und Medienkonverter P-Ex1002MC, P-Ex1003GX2 und P-Ex1005TX werden in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der Gerätegruppe I und II als stationäre Geräte verwendet. Sie dienen zur Übertragung von optischen oder elektrischen Datensignalen bis zu einer Bandbreite von 1 Gbit/s. Die Produkte gibt es in zwei verschiedenen Ausführungen, mit Aluminiumgehäuse für den Einsatz in Zone 1 und Zone 21 sowie in einem Edelstahlgehäuse für den Einsatz im Bereich Mining M2. -

• Die Regeln im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich (Richtlinie 99/92/EG) sind zu be- achten. Verhindern Sie gefährliche elektrostatische Aufladungen durch das Tra- gen geeigneter Kleidung und Schuhe. Benutzen Sie keine Gummihandschuhe o.ä.! • Vermeiden Sie Wärmeeinwirkungen außerhalb des spezifizierten Temperaturber- reichs (siehe Kapitel 3.2 "Allgemeine Daten"). Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen auf, wie beispielsweise Heizkörpern, Luftaustrittsöff- nungen einer Klimaanlage, einem Herd und anderen Geräten (einschließlich Verstärkern), die Wärme abstrahlen. -
