  • Page 2 CrossFLOW Ionizing Air Blower The CrossFLOW ionizing blower produces a powerful air flow, rich in positive and negative ions that quickly neutralize static charges. The CrossFLOW uses inherently balanced AC technology that provides a stable output with exceptionally fast decay performance. The Cross- FLOW features built-in emitter point cleaners and a heater that can be turned on at any time for user comfort.
  • Page 3 Keep the unit dry. Do not operate the ionizer in a flammable, volatile or explosive atmosphere. Do not insert objects through the unit’s intake or outlet grilles. Damage to the ionizer and/or personal injury may result. Please contact Transforming Technologies Customer Service for repair information.
  • Page 4 Carefully remove the equipment from the carton and inspect contents. If any damage has occurred during shipment, notify the local carrier at once. A report should also be forwarded Transforming Technologies at 419-841-9552. The CrossFLOW is designed for portable or permanent operation. The bench stand can be used for portable operation or bolted to a sturdy flat surface such as a wall or under a shelf.
  • Page 5 Speed of Neutralization The time required to neutralize a static charge on an item in this area depends on two important factors: distance to the ionizer and air velocity. Air ions constantly recombine and "neutralize" each other. With high air veloc- ity, the ions travel further before they recom- bine.
  • Page 6 Calibration The CrossFLOW's ion output is inherently balanced by design, so there are no calibration adjustments. Periodic verification is recommended, per ANSI/ESD SP3.3-2006 Periodic Verification of Air Ionizers. Verifi- cation frequency may be set by the individual user, but is recom- mended to be not less than one time per year.
