  • Page 2 Tools Necessary: Metric Socket Set ¾ Inch Drive Ratchet Metric Combination Wrench Set Phillips Head Screwdriver 6mm Allen Wrench Remove the cardboard and metal crate from around the bike. It is the recommended that the removal of the crate be done by at least two people to help prevent damage to the bike.
  • Page 3 Pull the bike off the bottom of the frame. When lifting the bike, DO NOT lift by any plastic parts as they will break. Open the Under-Seat Storage Compartment using the key switch on the left side of the bike and remove the battery and mirrors.
  • Page 4 Lift the floor mat up. There is a small, rectangular panel that can be removed using a phillips head screwdriver. Place the battery in the box beneath this panel. You will notice that there are 3 wires that need to be connected by the battery. The thick red wire and the wire with the fuse should be connected to the Positive (+) terminal of the battery.
  • Page 5 Put the riser below the mirror and feed the Allen Bolt and Lock Nut through the hole. Place the mirror onto the bike using a 6mm Allen Wrench. To attach the trunk, place the trunk on the rear rack. All hardware necessary for assembly will be located in the trunk, along with the keys.
  • Page 6 Feed the Screws and Washers through the correct holes as pictured to the left. Place the brass colored brackets below the trunk rack making sure that the screws go through the ports on the brackets. Secure the trunk with the provided nuts.
