• Rechargeable battery (DC 6V / 4.5A) or 120VAC 60 hz. power.
Before using for the first time:
Place the scale on a stable surface.
Adjust four feet to center the leveling bubble on the scale.
Avoid hot direct sunlight. Do not place scale near ventilation system.
Power supply
:
Power switch: it is located on the underside of the indicator.
Scale can be plugged directly into wall outlet for use or for charging.
Power consumption: about DC 20mA, with backlight about DC 40mA.
Indicator will blank-out and low battery icon flashes to indicate the battery needs recharging. In order to
prolong battery life, recharge the battery every day.
Note:
When recharging, do not share power with other equipment and avoid electromagnetic interference from other
devices.
If the scale will not be used for long period of time, the scale must be recharged (internal battery) every 3 months.
Recharge scale before using.
Red, which means charging and green means charging is finished.

  • Page 7 How to set up capacity, graduation & weighing standard calibration After each set up, you may turn off and on the scale to operate (do not need to go through to the end) . 1. Find the unlock code J8 jumber on mainboard to let it ‘ON’, then press NW/GW→and turn on power at same time.
  • Page 8 calibration process. ---OL--- Means over loading (OL at 9 divisions over max. capacity) or load cell is disconnect. Display Value drifts….. Increase the value of PL and PH settings. This will increase stability but decrease display speed. No BEEP after calibration The load cell signal (S+, S-) is incorrectly installed. Check and re-install. Indicator lights blink If this happens during calibration, the load cell connections may be installed incorrectly.
