Intended Use The USB 2.0 fax modem is designed to connect a computer to the Internet via a stan- dard telephone connection and enable the transmission and receipt of fax messages. It also supports telephone answering machine functions (TAM) and other telephone services.
Connecting the Fax Modem 1. Plug the USB connector on the fax modem in a free USB port on the computer. 2. Connect the fax modem to a telephone connection socket using the telephone cable supplied. The telephone cable is equipped with an RJ11 connector for connection to the telephone connection socket.
