Remove three screws 8 , and detach the leather front cover 9 and the extended
latch knob assembly 10 .
Note: The extend latch knob assembly is secured with a double-faced adhesive
tape a . When you install new extended latch knob assembly, peel the
protection sheet of the tape off, and attach the extended latch knob assembly
to the slot of the leather cover.

When installing: Attach the extended latch knob and the leather front cover as
shown in this figure. If the placement of the extended latch knob
is not correct, the leather front cover cannot be installed properly.
