State-of-the-art ideas, materials and technological processes were used in production of ASD-10QR to minimize influence of contamination. However it's not possible to completely eliminate influence of dust and insects. To ensure durable lifetime of your smoke alarms you should make sure that the alarm is clean and there is no dust accumulation there.
