    Turn on Bluetooth and download Qmote app Bluetooth and Qmote app are required. So, you need to download the free Qmote app from Apple Store or Google Play, then install it on your smartphone.     With an Android phone 1. Tap in the bottom corner of the screen. Choose which Qmote you want to add, then click your Qmote device to wake it up. Virtual Qmote is a virtual version of Qmote. Find out more here https://store.qblinks.co m/blogs/qmote/smart- button-for-android- phone Qmote is the physical Qmote device 2. If you add physical Qmote, choose the Qmote device you want to add. Location Service needs to be enabled for Bluetooth Scanning. You can turn it off after adding Qmote.

    Please note that there are certain restrictions for this function. For an Android phone, the camera shutter and flashlight toggle cannot be set up within the same click pattern, nor can speed- dial and answering a call.     Pair one Qmote device with different phones using the same Qblinks Cloud account Each Qmote can sync one setting file to a Qblinks Cloud account. You can choose to reload your settings from the Cloud when adding the same Qmote device using the same Qblinks Cloud account.     What Qmote can do for you? Qmote works well with both Android phones and iPhones. Once the free Qmote app is installed, Qmote has the following Click Patterns and features: Click Pattern There are 9 different Click Patterns in the Qmote app. ” ” stands for a short click “ ” stands for a long click Each Click Pattern can be assigned with different Actions (Multiple Actions). For example, you can set one click to turn on your smart home light (such as Wemo light or LIFX light) and to start music playback at the same time, and then set two clicks to pause the music.

  • Page 25 Snooze / Mute Ringtone This Action has two functions. You can activate snooze when your alarm rings and temporarily mute incoming calls with Qmote. It’s a perfect Action when you need some quiet time. Camera Shutter This Action only works within a camera app. Qmote turns into a remote camera shutter button that can work with almost any camera app. Now, you can be a part of the group picture or video! Attention: If you trigger this Action outside a camera app, you might inadvertently adjust the volume settings.
  • Page 26 Siri Shortcut (only for iOS 9 & below) Activate Siri using the assigned Click Pattern, and then dismiss Siri using the same Click Pattern while holding the last click. For example, if you set three short clicks as the pattern to activate Siri, then dismiss Siri by clicking three times again while holding the final click. Take Screenshot (only for iOS 9 & below) Use Qmote to take phone screenshots in all situation with just simple clicks. Fake Call Make a fake call that looks exactly like the real call. You can also customize the caller ID & phone number. Speed Dial Place a call to your top contact quickly. Attention: After you click your Qmote, you need to slide the notification to enable this Action because it uses your phone credit. This action can only be executed if both Qmote is under the same Qblinks account. Send Current Location Instantly share your current location address and map to your friends and family so that you’ll never miss each other again. Attention: When you send your current location through SMS, you need to slide the notification to enable the Action because it uses your phone credit.

Click Qmote at least 6 times in quick succession with the Qmote app running in the background to make your phone rings. Keep clicking to continue the ringing. You may set the ringer volume in the "Edit page" of each Qmote. HTTP Request If you are a developer, this Action will connect to the designated URL for a short period of time. If you have an internet service waiting on that URL, you can use the HTTP Request to trigger that service.
