The UV Mobile Tester needs to be used in combination with a software App, which can be freely downloaded: • For Android Search ‘Alcochem’ on Google Play Store and select “UVtester”. Download, install and run the App. • For iOS (iPhone, iPad): Search ‘Alcochem’... - Page 3 3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: • Plug the UV Mobile Tester into the Smartphone headphone jack (A). Open the App on your Smartphone, then tap the [ON] button on the screen. • For best results, prevent any vibrations. Ensure that the UV-A lamp being tested has been switched on for at least 10 minutes to allow it to reach its full UV-A output potential.
- Page 4 In the upper part of the screen of the App you will find two buttons: • The Camera button (C) will take a screenshot and place this in the photo library of your Smartphone. This allows you to review the measured value later.
