    General safety instructions This manual contains important safety instructions that should be followed during the installation and maintenance of the UPS. Please read this manual thoroughly before attempting to install or operate this UPS. DO NOT under any circumstances attempt to remove the UPS cover. It may contain hazardous voltages internally that may cause electric shock.

    Please verify that this model matches your AC mains / load voltage requirements. The Hypertec UPS must be earthed at all times during operation. This can be achieved by only connecting the input power chord to a mains supply socket outlet with an integral earth terminal. A means of disconnecting the mains supply should be within 2 meters of the UPS.

    ON, even if the UPS is not plugged in to mains supply. The On/Off button on the UPS does not electrically isolate the internal parts. To isolate the UPS, switch the UPS OFF first, then unplug it from the mains. To reduce the risk of fire, use fuses with the correct rating when replacing fuses.
