• This appliance must be installed by someone competent to do so, Firenzo recommend the use of a NZ Home Heating Association, solid fuel appliance installation technician (SFAIT), or other suitably qualified person.

Floor Protector Requirements AS/NZ2918 Section 3.3 states that if the heater is to be placed on or within 500mm of heat sensitive materials in the floor, then a floor protector will be required. This floor protector shall extend under the heater and not less than 300mm beyond the front of the fuel loading or ash removal openings.

A flue sealing shim is provided to help seal the flue system to the flue spigot outlet if required. See flue installation section 6 for flue specifications. Install the special Firenzo double flue shield to the flue system above the appliance following the instructions supplied.

If an alternative flue system is chosen, it must be tested to AS/NZ 2918:2001 appendice F and the manufacturer’s specifications for the installation of the flue system must be adhered to. It however must have an extended ceiling plate to 460 x 460mm and the special Firenzo double flue shield must be used.

Your Firenzo Fusion utilises gasification combustion technology, so runs quite differently to a conventional wood stove. You must operate your stove strictly in accordance with these instructions, this will enable you to achieve efficient use of your fuel and get maximum heat output.

The control on the right hand side is only to be used to direct the flue draft operation for initial lighting until the appliance and flue has warmed sufficiently to run in normal operation mode and then used again to enable refuelling as required.

Cleaning of Ashes from the Fireboxes The gasification combustion process of the Firenzo Fusion means that a vast majority of the ashes and charcoals normally left after the fire has extinguished will now be consumed so will require much less emptying than a conventional wood burner.

The warranties are given in respect of any defects in the specified Firenzo component parts and materials and Firenzo workmanship that render the component parts and materials unfit for normal domestic use.

12. The warranty claimant is responsible for paying any service call fees, transport charges and for any damages and loss incurred in transit to the Firenzo wood fire or its component parts and materials, to and from Firenzo or its designated accredited agent. Where Firenzo honours a warranty, as described in paragraph 13, it will reimburse the warranty claimant any transportation costs they have incurred.
