Voice mail
When you cannot answer a call, your phone will automatically transfer the call to your
voicemail, and allow the caller to leave a message. Enter the voice mail menu; select
"Listen to Voice Mail messages" to hear the voice mail recording or select "Voice
mailbox number" to save or edit your voice mailbox number.
This service needs support of network operator. You might have to first apply for
this service. Please contact your local network operator.
Message setup
Includes options for changing the settings of message services such as; Service Center,
Protocol Type, Validity Period, Status Report, Reply Path, Storage Media and Service
status.
 Service center:
1. In the Message setup display, select Service center.
2. Press Accept to view/change the service center number, then press Accept to
confirm.
Note: The Service Center number is usually assigned by the SIM card provider.
 Protocol type:
1. In the Message setup, select Protocol type.
2. Press Accept to view/change Protocol Type setting, then press Accept key to
confirm.
 Validity period:
1. In the Message setup, select Validity period.
2. Press Accept to view/change the length or time for which the network should attempt
to deliver your message, then press Accept key to confirm.
 Status report:
1. In the Message setup, select Status report.
2. Set to "On" to request the network to send a delivery report to
the sender,
otherwise select "Off" option.
 Reply path:
1. In the Message set up, select Reply path.
2. Set "On" to request the network to send a reply back
information to the receiver, or select "Off" option.
 Storage status:
1. In the Message set up, select Storage status.
2. Press Accept to display the total and used capacity for both SIM and Phone memory.
3. Press Accept.
