Failure to comply with all of these warnings may result in loss of load, damage to LOG‐MULE, personal injury and/or property damage. • The LOG‐MULE should only be used to transport solid or split logs. • Do not exceed 400 lb. rated capacity. • Avoid operating the LOG‐MULE sideways on hills with a load. The load may shift or tip over. • The LOG‐MULE is not intended to be pulled behind a vehicle of any kind. • Steel‐toes shoes, long pants and gloves are recommended when using the LOG‐MULE. • The operator should keep other people clear from the LOG‐MULE while lifting, lowering or transporting the load. • Verify that all bolts are tight before each use. Step 1 – Install Axles to Top Frame You will need: Top Frame (2) Axles (4) Long Hex Head Cap Screws (8) Flat Washers Front View Back View (4) Nylon Hex Nuts Tools: Two 1/2" wrenches 1. Carefully lay the Top Frame down on a table with the C‐channel off the end of the table facing up. 2. Insert one Axle through the large hole in the side of the Top Frame and align the holes in the Axle with the holes in the Top Frame. 3. Assemble a flat washer onto one of the Long Hex Head Cap Screws. 4. Insert the screw up through the hole in the Top Frame and up through the hole in the Axle. 5. Assemble a second flat washer onto the screw. 6. Assemble a Nylon Hex Nut onto the screw and hand tighten without tools. 7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for the other hole in the Axle and tighten both screws firmly using tools. 8. Repeat steps 2 through 8 for the other Axle. Step 3 – Install Side Straps to Top and Bottom Frame You will need: (2) Side Straps (4) Short Hex Head Cap Screws (8) Flat Washers (4) Nylon Hex Nuts Bottom Frame View Top Frame View Tools: Two 1/2" wrenches 1. Pre‐assemble one Flat Washer on each of the Short Hex Head Cap Screws. 2. Position Side Strap on the side of the frame and align the holes at each end of the Side Strap with the holes in the side of the frames as shown. 3. Insert a screw through the Side Strap and then through the hole in the side of the Bottom Frame. 4. Assemble a washer onto the screw. 5. Assemble a Nylon Hex Nut onto the screw and hand tighten without tools. 6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 to fasten the other end of the Side Strap to the Top Frame and tighten both screws firmly using tools. 7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for the other Side Strap. Step 5 – Install Wheels to Axles You will need: (2) Wheels (2) Nylon Spacers (2) Shaft Collars Tools: 5/32” Allen Wrench Inside View Outside View 1. Slide one Nylon Spacer on the end of the axle. 2. Slide one Wheel on the end of the axle. Note: The wheel is not the same on both sides. The side with the longer hub sticking out of the rim should go onto the axle first. There is a red dot on this side of the wheel. 3. Slide one Shaft Collar on the end of the axle. 4. While keeping the wheel assembly tight against the Frame, firmly tighten the shaft collar screw with the Allen Wrench. 5. Ensure that the wheel spins freely. 6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for the other wheel. Congratulations! Your LOG‐MULE® is now ready for action! ...

Within this period, Fort Defiance Industries, Inc. shall correct any defect by repairing or replacing defective parts of the equipment, or making available parts thereof, at our option, FOB Loudon, TN.
