Preliminaries For digital interfaces, use with cables designed for digital audio: • for AES/EBU interfaces use 110Ω screened, twisted pair cables fitted with one male XLR connector and one female XLR connector.

We recommend setting the Network Bridge volume to maximum and controlling the volume from the DAC or preamplifier where possible.

Take care when using AirPlay, as the volume set by the sending device can be very high.

If you are using the SDIF-2 interface, the DAC will lock to a word clock generated by the Network Bridge. The basic Sync Mode for the Network interface is Master Mode because it has an asynchronous Network interface.
