- Page 3 The Kegco RTC-2 is a digital temperature power control device that overrides an appliances' thermostat. Common applications include using the RTC-2 to control the power to a freezer to prevent it from getting too cold, or to control the power to a terrarium to prevent it from getting too hot and maintaining a stable environment. It regulates the amount of electricity getting to the appliance allowing you precise control over the temperature settings.
