  • Page 31 • NONE - Maintains full dynamic range. • MEDIUM - Provides less compression than the “High” setting, but still limits the dynamic range • HIGH - Provides maximum reduction of dynamic range. Note: The compression setting has no effect on signals from music CDs or DTS encoded materials.
  • Page 32 This is usually not practical given the location of furniture and walls in your listening room. To compensate, the CL-2500 SSP allows you to delay the signals from the center and rear speakers so they will not arrive before the signals from the front left and right speak- ers.

  • Page 35 To compensate for these differ- ences, the CL-2500 SSP is equipped with level trims for each audio channel. We recommend that you use the built-in Noise Generator, a sound pressure level (SPL) meter, and critical listening to set these trims, and to ensure that all channels are equally loud.
  • Page 36 Set Master Volume You can adjust the default master volume from –63.5 to –15 dB. The Master Level will be pegged to this setting on power up or whenever a new preset is selected. Turn the Select Knob to set the Master Volume Level to –63.5 to –15.0 dB in 0.5 dB increments.
