On my hdswc1 there is no blue and yellow wire, only a gray wire that say key 2 and a brown wire that say key 1 connecting to a newer jvc deck.

The Scosche HDSWC1 manual does not mention gray or brown wires labeled as "key 2" or "key 1." However, for newer JVC decks, the manual states that the steering wheel harness wire should connect to the brown "Remote in" wire at the back of the stereo.
