It is recommended you install the wine cooler in a place where the ambient temperature is between 5-35 º C . If
the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures. the performance of the unit maybe
affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or warm conditions may cause interior temperatures
to fluctuate. The range of 5-18 º C variance may not be achieved.
Recommended Temperatures for storing wine
Red Wines: 14 ° C - 18ºC
Dry/White Wines 9 ° C - 14ºC
Sparkling Wines 5 ° C - 9ºC
The above temperatures may vary depending on whether the interior bulb for lighting is ON or OFF or whether
the bottles are located on the upper / middle or lower section.
POWER
To turn OFF the appliance, press the " POWER " switch to the ' o ff ' position.
Setting the Temperature Control
You can set the temperature as you desire by pushing the UP or DOWN button. When you push the two
buttons for the first time, the LED readout will show the original temperature set at previous time (the
temperature preset at the factory is 12 º C ).
The temperature that you desire to set will increase 1 º C if you push the UP button once, on the contrary the
temperature will decrease it if you push the DOWN button once.
When you store mostly red wines, the recommended temperature should be set between 14 ° C to 18 º C .
When you store mostly white wines, the recommended temperature be set between 9 º C and 14 º C .
When you store mostly sparkling wines, the recommended temperature should be set between 5 º C and 9 º C .
NOTE:
If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off, you must wait for 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit. If
you attempt to restart before this time, the Wine Cooler will not start.
When you use the wine cooler for the first time or restart the wine cooler or after having been shut off for a
long time. There could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one indicated
on the LED readout. This is normal and it is due to the length of the activation time. Once the wine cooler is
running for a few hours everything will be back to normal.
Interior Light
You can turn the interior light ON or OFF by pushing the " LIGHT " switch
