1. Turn the patient towards you. Place
The 10 Point Stretcher Sling so that the product
label is facing the underlying surface and the
sling's mid-section follows the patient's spine.
The upper edge of the Stretcher Sling should
support the head.
Place the edge of the sling as far in under the
patient as possible. Guide the loops under, so
that you can reach them once you have turned
the patient back onto StretcherSling.
2. Turn the patient back onto the sling and pull the
sling out from the other side with the help of
the straps.
3. If necessary: Adjust the width of the Stretcher-
Bar to fit the patient's width by pulling out the
lift hooks.
Then, hook the lift loops onto the bar.
4. Raise the lift until all loops are fully extended.
Pause to ensure that everything is as it should
be before raising the patient clear of the
underlying surface.
5. If the patient is not balanced after being lifted
from the underlying surface, this can be
corrected turning the balance regulator.
1. Release all suspension hooks from the lift and
move it out of the way. Turn the patient toward
you and tuck the 10 Point Stretcher Sling in
under itself against the underlying surface.
2. The fabric slides against itself when you pull out
the Stretcher Sling, after turning back the patient.
