Creating a Knock Code

Tap Settings Display Lock screen Select screen lock
Knock Code.

T ap the squares in a pattern of your choice to create a Knock Code
and tap NEXT.

I nput the created Knock Code again for verification, then tap
CONFIRM.

S et a backup PIN to use when the Knock Code is forgotten.
Unlocking the screen with a Knock Code
U nlock the screen by inputting the Knock Code you have created.
Input your knock Code on the touch screen when the screen is turned
off.
• It is also possible to enter a Knock Code when the screen is turned on.

Device encryption

Encrypting your device
By default, data is encrypted before saving on the device to protect
the data. It is possible to read, write and copy data even when device
encryption is set. It is also possible to display a user confirmation prompt
when the power is turned on by using lock settings while in lock screen
mode.
Precautions for device encryption
You can use Secure start-up to increase your device's protection level.
