What is TCP/IP? The HD Link IP uses the reliability and flexibility of TCP/IP networking protocols to extend HDMI signals over long distances (up to 330 feet) and can use new or existing network infrastructure. Point-to-point connections can be made with Cat5e/6 (or better) cables and video distribution just requires a simple gigabit switch.
