A. Parts Description 1. Check the following parts to ensure you have all the items necessary to assemble your new Metal Craft 3-Person Bench: Qty. Part No. Description Packed 0174-00 3-Person Bench, Seat Assembly (4 slats) 0180-00 3-Person Bench, Back Assembly (3 slats) 0185-01 3-Person Bench, Left End Assembly 0185-02... - Page 3 B. Assembly Instructions Leave bolts loose (1/8” to 1/4” from tight) during assembly. This will ease alignment of the holes and speed installation of the bolts. Do not tighten bolts until Bench is fully assembled. Use a chair or similar prop to simplify assembly, as shown in the photos below. Assembly time is approximately 45 minutes.
- Page 4 Step #2 - Next, attach the Back: 0180-00 3-Person Bench, Back Assembly (3 slats) 0075-01 3/4” x 1/4”-20 Stainless Hex Head Bolt Hold the back in place while inserting the bolts. Inserting the bolt at the top inside of the End can be frustrating due to the tight clearance.

Congratulations! Assembly is completed! C. Installation Instructions Always mount Bench firmly to a secure and substantial surface! The Bench is supplied with a Mounting Kit for use with Metal Craft Dock Deck Modules. 0187-00 Mounting Kit, Under Dock Brace (angle) 0075-04 Mounting Kit, 1-3/4”... - Page 8 Note how the following Mounting Kit parts are oriented in illustration to the right. The angle is mounted underneath the Dock Module and sandwiches the deck slats between the angle and the Bench: 1. Mounting Bench Parallel to Deck Module This is the most popular mount.
- Page 9 2. Mounting Bench on End of 6’W Deck Module The 3-Person Aluminum Bench can be mounted across the end of a 6’W Deck Module (note: will not fit on the end of a 5’ wide module). Cut the long Mounting Kit angles in half to form four (4) pieces. Place the Bench in to position and install the Stainless bolts as described in C.1.
- Page 10 3. Mounting Bench to Wood, Plastic or Concrete Surface Check area surrounding intended Bench location to ensure a structurally sound mounting surface. Drill holes on 15” center-to-centers for the front-to-back holes in the Ends, and place those holes 60” center-to-center apart (side-to-side). If possible, use the bolts and angles provided with the Bench.
