For NV-DVR1200 series, two different control protocols are available: Novus D-3 assigned to number 3 in the keyboard, or N-Control assigned to number 4, respectively. To establish a proper cooperation between keyboard and DVR, a correct control protocol must be set for a given DVR ID number. A unique ID number is assigned to each of the connected DVRs, i.e. to control DVR no.1, no.1 address must be selected in the keyboard.

After turning the power on, numbers on LED display appear, informing about firmware version. After a short while following symbols appear: From now on keyboard is ready to work with.

    To select control protocol for the DVR no. 1 please press one of four keys: 1, 2, 3, 4 - depending on the protocol being used. - Novus-D1 - for NV-DVR3000 control - Novus-D2 - for NV-DVR5100, NV-DVR5500, NV-DVR5800 control - Novus-D3 - for NV-DVR1000, NV-DVR1100, NV-DVR1200 control - N-Control - for NV-DVR4500, NV-DVR4600, NV-DVR1200 control NOTE: Transmission speed is constant, reaching 9600BPS for all the protocols.
