Playing an Audio CD and

The DVD Player can play MP3/Windows Media
formatted recordings on CD-ROM, CD-R or CD-RW
discs. Before playing MP3/Windows Media
recordings, read the notes on MP3/Windows Media
Audio Recordings on right.
Audio CD
Once you insert an audio CD a menu appears on the TV
screen. Press 3/4 to select a track then press PLAY B
or OK and playback starts.
MP3/Windows Media

Press 3/4 to select a folder, and press OK to see the
folder contents.

Press 3/4 to select a track then press PLAY B or OK.
Playback starts.

When playing a file containing information such as track
titles, you can see the information by pressing DISPLAY.

Tips
– If you are in a file list on the "MUSIC" menu and want to
return to the Folder list, use the 3/4 to highlight
press OK.
– On a CD with MP3/Windows Media
can switch MP3/Windows Media
TITLE and "MUSIC" or "PHOTO" word on top of the
menu is highlighted.
– When playing a file containing information such as track
titles, you can see the information by pressing DISPLAY.

extension other than ".mp3" .

software which cannot create a file system, for example
"Direct-CD" etc., it is impossible to playback

Audio files.We recommend that
you use "Easy-CD Creator", which creates an ISO9660 file
system.

File names should be named using 8 letters or less and
must incorporate ".mp3" or ".wma" extension.

1,000 files.
