- Page 3 Intalling the Console Mounts (Continued) Install the port mounts. Remember the legs rake toward the stern, the mounts are machined to allow the leg to fit in at the correct angle. It is imperative that the legs are vertical left to right (Figure 3). Tip: To achieve a tighter fit to the console, the console mounts can be cut down using a table saw with a standard wood blade.
- Page 4 Assembling the Ring 1) Pass the 2" screws through the larger diameter holes in the ring sides. There are 3 holes in each side ring. 2) Place the tube joiner fittings over the threads of the 2" screws and gently thread them in. Do Not Tighten Yet! 3) P ush the ring cross braces over the joiner tube fittings on one of the ring sides till the tubes bottom out on the fitting. 4) T ighten the 2" screws to expand the fitting locking the tube in place. Do this for the 2 additional cross braces. 5) Insert the front and rear ring joiners into the ring side. 6) U sing the same procedure as in step 3, attach the opposite ring side to the cross braces and front and rear joiners.
