- Page 3 IMPORTANT WARNING: About 512 Byte/Sector and 4K Sector Switch 512 Byte and 4K refer to the amount of data storable on a minimal unit of a hard disk drive (per sector). If you wish to remove the internal drive (containing data) from your computer to be used as an external one via EZ0330, the 512 Byte/sector format of traditional computers is recommended. Switching to 4K sector will require the disk to be formatted and erase all data contained. However, if you are using a 4k sector or brand new hard drive, we recommend you keep the original 4k sector format. ...

- Page 7 Installing the Hard Drive 1. Plug the power adapter into EZ0330 power jack(e) 2. Insert the 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hard drive into hard drive slot(c) 3. Connect each end of the USB cable to the USB connector(f) and computer USB host 4. Press the power button(a), and the power indicator(b) will light up to show that hard drive is in operation 5. Right‐click on the Computer icon on the desktop, then select Manage ‐> Device Manager ‐> Disk drives. If “ezDISK EZ0330 USB Device” appears, installation is complete. 6 / 6 ...
