SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AIR COMPRESSOR HAZARDS • It is normal to have some sparks within the motor and pressure switch. • Do not let the compressor come into contact with flammable vapors, as the sparks from the motor and pressure switch may ignite the flammables and cause an explosion. Always operate the compressor in a well-ventilated place free of flammable vapors.
• Authorized service center personnel should perform repairs. • Portable compressors can fall from tables or rooftops causing serious injuries or death to the operator. Always operate the compressor in a stable secure position to prevent accidental movement of the unit. Do not operate the compressor on a roof or other elevated positions.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ON SETTING UP YOUR UNIT To begin setting up your compressor • Begin setting up the air compressor in clean, dry, and well-ventilated area. • Keep the compressor at least 1 foot away from the wall or other objects that may interfere with the flow of air.
EXTENSION CORDS It is recommended that more air hose be used instead of an extension cord. Using more extension cord will cause a voltage drop resulting in power loss to the motor. If an extension cord must be used, verify that it is: •...

Safety Valve: If the pressure switch is malfunctioning and does not turn the compressor off after the pressure in the tank is too high, there is a safety valve that will protect against high pressure by “popping out” at its factory set pressure (slightly higher than the pressure switch “cut-out setting”).
Air Intake Filter: This filter cleans the air that comes into the air compressor pump. This filter should always be clean and free from debris. Check Valve: The check valve permits air to enter the tank when the air compressor pump is pumping air.

Normal wears: Engines and generators, like all mechanical devices, need periodic parts service and replacement to perform well. Warranty will not cover repair when normal use has exhausted the life of a part of an engine. Improper maintenance: The life of an engine or your equipment depends upon the conditions under which it operates, and the care it receives. Some applications, such as tillers, pumps, and rotary movers, are very often used in dusty or dirty conditions, which can cause what appears to be premature, wear.
