Static images left on-screen for extended periods of time may leave a
"ghost image" on plasma displays. For this reason the monitor is
equipped with a protective function that detects static images. After a
period of little or no image movement, the protection mechanism
automatically shifts pixel positions to prevent creation of a "ghost
image". The time interval between pixel shifting can be set by the user.
