Driver Attention Monitor

If your driving behavior suggests you are tired, the system alerts you and suggests a
break. The system operates at speeds between 25–112 mph (40–180 km/h).

Button
Driver attention is rated on a scale of 1 to 4, 4 being
most attentive. If the system detects that attention is
down to level 2, it will display a message.
If the system detects that attention is down to level 1,
it will beep, vibrate the steering wheel, and suggest a
break. Cancel the message by pressing ENTER or by
taking more active driving control. If driver attention
remains detected at level 1, the message will reappear
along with a beep after about 15 minutes.
To reset the system
• Turn the engine off.
• With the vehicle stopped, unfasten the seat belt and open the door.
System limitations
Driver attention monitor does not operate when:
• Travel time is less than 30 minutes.
• LKAS is operating (see page 119).
• Driving on broken or choppy roads.
• It is windy.

Customize certain features, such as the display, the trip computer, and door locking/
unlocking.
Models with information display
Press MENU/CLOCK, then SETTINGS to make and enter selections when the vehicle is
stopped.
