Intended Use ❐ This device is used to improve hearing. It is not a replacement for a hearing aid fitted by a specialist. You should therefore always consult a doctor as a precaution. ❐ This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person... - Page 4 ❐ Use only the battery type specified in the technical data. Use high-performance alkaline batteries. When replacing batteries, note the correct polarity (+/–). ❐ Take the battery out of the battery compartment when it is dead or if you will not be using the device for a prolonged period. Attaching the Ear Cushions PLEASE NOTE! ❐ For reasons of hygiene, ear cushions should only be used by one person. Otherwise they should be thoroughly cleaned before they are passed on to others (see the "Cleaning" chapter). Three pairs of ear cushions of different sizes are supplied with the device. Test which size you find most comfortable. -
