Please read the instruction manual carefully before using this product! Do not open the unit by yourself! Service should only be executed by an authorized MULTIBLITZ service location. Opening the product by yourself voids the warranty. Do not expose the unit to water, nor spray-/or dripping water.
Initial start-up Open the battery compartment on the underside of the TTL- TRIGGER and insert the (AA) batteries supplied. Make sure that the polarity is correct. Then close the battery compartment again. Guide the TTL-TRIGGER into the camera shoe of your Nikon camera and tighten the TTL-TRIGGER using the black knurled screw on your camera.

After switching your camera on, as soon as you operate the trigger, the green LED of the TTL-TRIGGER comes on to show that the connection between your Nikon camera and the TTL- TRIGGER is active. If your camera's trigger is not operated for a few seconds, the LED turns red, indicating that it is on standby.

Operating modes TTL (Thru the lens) mode In TTL mode, the M6-TTL automatically adjusts to the flash measurement mode of the camera. In coordination with the flash control of the camera, the M6-TTL automatically regulates the flash power. If required, an exposure adjustment can be carried out, which can be set in steps of a third up to ±3 f-stops.

Note for Nikon cameras: If the "FP" function is activated in the camera menu, the high speed synchronisation is also automatically active in TTL mode and all the specified shutter speeds of the camera can be used. If the "FP" function in the camera menu is activated, the M6- TTL automatically switches to "FP"...
M (Manual) mode In manual mode, the M6-TTL can be used like a classic flash unit, e.g. for studio operation. The power is regulated with the power regulator via eight apertures in 1/3 f-stops (1/128 – 1/1). Within the required Group (A, B, C), select "M" mode by operating the corresponding buttons (1, 2, 3).

FP (Focal Plane) mode / High speed synchronisation For high speed synchronisation, you can use the M6-TTL in "FP" at all shutter speeds that are specified by the camera you are using *. In addition, defined flash times of 1/8000, 1/11000, 1/13000, 1/14000 sec** can be set at the M6-TTL for high speed synchronisation.

Note for Nikon cameras: If the "FP" function is activated in the camera menu, then high speed synchronisation is also automatically activated in TTL mode and all the specified shutter speeds of the camera can be used.

TTL-TRIGGER N. Go to www.multiblitz.com/downloads (tab: "M6-TTL Firmware”) load the firmware onto your computer. Click on the icon " TTL-TRIGGER N Version ...”, and the download starts automatically. Using the USB cable supplied, connect the TTL- TRIGGER N to your computer (MAC/PC).

The TTL-TRIGGER N is shown as a drive on your desktop. The following appears on the triggers´ screen: Select "YES”. The download icon appears on the display. Now drag the downloaded file onto the drive that is displayed on your desktop.
