Internet Portal

HINT: A broadband internet connection is required for
high quality viewing the contents and for proper operation
of the internet portal.
Portal feature adds your TV a feature that allows you to
connect a server on the Internet and view the content
provided by this server over your Internet connection.
Portal feature allows you to view the music, video, clip
or web content with defined short-cuts. Whether you
can view this content without interruption depends
on the connection speed provided by your internet
service provider.
Press the Internet button on your remote control
to open internet portal. Before connecting to the
portal, your prior consent to the Smart TV Terms of
Use and Smart TV Cookies Consent will be asked.
You need to accept to continue. Highlight Accept and
then on the next screen OK options located on the
bottom left side of the screen and press OK button
on the remote to proceed.
A confirmation screen will be displayed next, asking
whether you want to activate parental control in order
to lock 18+ related apps. Highlight Cancel and press
OK to continue without locking these kind of apps.
Highlight Enable and press OK if you want to activate
parental control. You will be asked to define a four
digit code to access the locked apps in the future. You
should enter the code twice for confirmation.
When portal is opened you will see icons of the
available applications on the portal screen. Scroll
down to see all available apps. Use the directional
buttons on your remote to navigate through the
portal. Move the focus to the desired item and press
OK to start the applicaton. Press Back button to
return back to the previous screen. Use the coloured
buttons on the remote for some operations related to
the highlighted app. If available, the options for each
coloured button will be displayed at bottom left corner
of the screen.
You can use the App Gallery to add more apps to your
portal page. Press the Green button to change the
country in order to see available local applications.
Press Blue button to switch on/off the app locking.
You can perform searches within the portal in order to
find an app. Move the focus to the search box on the
upper right corner of the screen and press OK. Type a
key word to start a search. Results will be listed below
the search box. Press the Back button to close the
virtual keyboard and select the desired result using
the directional buttons.
You can use the web browser application to visit any
desired website on the internet and perform internet
searches.
You can access to the Picture and Sound menu
options by pressing the Menu button on the remote
and make adjustments without needing to return to
the Live TV mode.
Follow the on-screen instructions at the bottom of the
screen for available button functions.
Press the TV button to quit the Internet portal mode.
PIP Window (depending on the portal service)
Current source content will be displayed in the
background of the portal interface on the home screen.
In some sub-menus screen image may be displayed
in a small PIP window.
If you switch to portal mode while watching TV
channels, current programme will be displayed in the
background or in the PIP window.
Notes:
Possible application dependent problems may be caused by
the content service provider.
Portal service content and the interface may be changed at
any time without prior notice.
Third party internet services may change, be discontinued or
restricted at any time.
