    Operation 6 Operation Switching the telephone on and off No calls can be received when the telephone is switched off. No battery power is used when the telephone is switched off. No emergency calls can be made when the telephone is switched off. The telephone must be switched on beforehand, which can take a little time.

The terms of guarantee do not apply where the cause of equip- ment malfunction is the fault of the telephone network operator or any interposed private branch extension system.
