If the SoundBox 2in1 cannot establish a connection to the mobile phone after about two
i
minutes, it turns off automatically. In this case, please repeat steps c) to f ) to make a new
connection attempt.
After the SoundBox 2in1 and your mobile phone have been successfully paired, the SoundBox
i
2in1 is automatically set ready for operation in the standby mode. The LED will blink blue once
every 4 seconds.
8.2) Establishing a connection between a mobile phone that has already
been paired and the SoundBox 2in1
Press the multifunction switch (A) for four seconds until an ascending tone sounds.
Your SoundBox 2in1 is now turned on and connects automatically to the mobile phone
that has already been paired.
The blue LED indicates whether the mobile phone is connected to the SoundBox 2in1.
If there is an active connection, it blinks once every 4 seconds (standby mode).
If the connection is terminated due to long distance or if it cannot be established,
i
the SoundBox 2in1 blinks blue every second.
The connection is automatically reestablished when the device is again within the range
i
of the SoundBox 2in1.
If still no connection has been established with your mobile phone, please check the
Bluetooth® settings of your mobile phone. Proceed as described in Section 8.1 in this chapter.
8.3) Turning off the SoundBox 2in1
Hold the multifunction switch (A) pressed for approx. six seconds until a descending tone sounds.
The red LED blinks three times. The Bluetooth® function will be terminated and the device will turn off.
8.4) Terminating the connection between the mobile phone and
the SoundBox 2in1
Follow the steps below to terminate the established Bluetooth® connection between the
SoundBox 2in1 and your mobile phone:
a)
Turn the SoundBox 2in1 off.
b) Terminate the connection in the Bluetooth® menu of your mobile phone.
