The PFS 7 TVFR was designed to give the highest degree of protection against overloads, voltage peaks,
electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). It protects your computers and
peripherals against damages caused by accidental overvoltages, voltage peaks, lightning, network
parasites and overloads. A resettle circuit breaker provides protection against overloads and short circuits.

Security
Please read all these instructions before installing the PFS 7 TVFR. It must be installed only inside a
protected location in which temperature and humidity do not exceed the limits defined in the technical
specifications section.
Please refer to local norms to check if a complementary primary surge protection is necessary in addition
to this type 3 surge protector.
Installation
Plug the PFS 7 TVFR into a two-pole connector with earth (2P+E-10A).
Put the switch into the "I" or "ON" position and check that the "Protected" and "Power OK" lights are
on. If it does not light on, check the electrical power supply. If the orange "Protected" light is off, do
not use the PFS 7 TVFR.
Then, plug your equipment to be protected into the 7 protected outlets of the PFS 7 TVFR.
1. On/Off switch
The mains 2-pole switch of the PFS 7 TVFR is used to switch the 7 outlets on and off.
2. Overload protection
When the consumption of connected equipment exceeds the authorized value, the circuit breaker opens to
protect the PFS 7 TVFR. To put it back into service, reduce the connected power and reset the circuit
breaker.
3. "Power OK"
Green led "Power OK" turns on: power is effective.
Green led "Power OK" is off: power is not effective.
4. Active surge protection led
Orange led "Protected" turns on: the protection is effective.
Orange led "Protected" is off: the protection is not effective.
5. Protected outlets
Outlets are used to connect equipment such as a PC, printer, monitor, scanner, modem, external CD Rom
drive, home DVD player.
6. Space-wide protected outlets
PFS 7 TVFR benefits from 2 space-wide outlets for easy use with transformer blocks.
7. Coaxial arial TV antenna protection
The PFS 7 TVFR is equipped with protection against overvoltages for your TV antenna connection thanks
to its 2 aerial type coaxial connectors. Connect the line input to the "IN" connector and use the cable
supplied to connect the "OUT" connector.
In case of problem, do not disassemble the PFS 7 TVFR, there are no reparable parts inside it.
