The PFS 6 B was designed to give the highest degree of protection against overloads and voltage peaks.
It protects your computers, peripherals and hi-fi equipment against damages caused by accidental
overvoltages, voltage peaks, lightning, network parasites and overloads. A resettle circuit breaker provides
protection against overloads and short circuits.

Description
Security
Please read all these instructions before installing the PFS 6 B.
It must be installed only inside a protected location in which the temperature and humidity do not exceed
the limits defined in the technical specifications section.
Installation
Plug the PFS 6 B into a two-pole connector with earth (2P+E–10 A). Plug your equipment to be protected
into the 6 protected outlets of the PFS 6 B.
Put the switch into the "I" or "ON" position and check that it lights up. If it does not, check the electrical
power supply.
1. On/Off switch
The mains two-pole switch of the PFS 6 B is used to switch the 6 outlets on and off.
2. Overload protection
When the consumption of connected equipment exceeds the authorized value, the circuit breaker opens to
protect the PFS 6 B. To put it back into service, reduce the connected power and reset the circuit breaker.
3. Protected outlets
Protected outlets are used to connect equipment such as a PC, printer, monitor, scanner, external CD Rom
drive, hi-fi equipment, VCR, home DVD player... The space-wide outlet is ideal to easily connect a
transformer block. They are controlled by the mains switch.
In case of problem, do not disassemble the PFS 6 B, there are no reparable parts inside it.
