BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME Carefully unpack the Personal Blender and remove all packaging materials. Check the contents to ensure that all attachments and accessories are present (see Figure 1) and have been received in good condition. Handle the blending blade attachments by its collar only. Insert the blade collar into the motor base, fitting the tabs into the slots on the motor base. FOOD PROCESSING HINTS Do not operate the motor continuously for more than 1 minute at a time. Allow motor to rest WARNING: for 3 minutes before continuing. Never overfill the processing cup. The maximum capacity of the tall cup is 24-oz./3 cups. WARNING: For best results, solid foods should not be larger than 1-inch pieces. -

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS Unplug and clean unit. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place. Never store the Personal Blender while it is hot or plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress on cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause the cord to fray and break. -

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION Déballer le Mélangeur Personnel soigneusement. Enlever tout le matériel d’emballage. Vérifier le contenu afin de confirmer que toutes les pièces et tous les accessoires sont compris (se reporter à la figure 1) et sont en bon état. Placer le collet de la lame dans le socle-moteur en insérant les languettes dans les fentes situées sur celui-ci. Le Mélangeur Personnel ne se met pas en marche tant que les trois languettes REMARQUE : de verrouillage du collet de la lame ne sont pas correctement insérées dans les trois fentes situées dans le socle-moteur.

CONSEILS D’UTILISATION Ne pas faire fonctionner le moteur sans interruption plus de une minute à la fois. AVERTISSEMENT : Laisser le moteur à l’arrêt pendant trois minutes avant de poursuivre. Ne jamais trop remplir le gobelet. Le gobelet a une capacité maximale de 24 oz AVERTISSEMENT : (3 tasses). -
