General Information Introduction This manual contains information for the proper application, installation, and operation of the Audio International, Inc. (AI), Surround Sound Processor, Model # ASP-101-02-x. The “-x” suffix in the model number designates the type of connector utilized. Also included are relative physical and electrical characteristics of the unit.
Some features are set upon installation using an external PC (typically a laptop) and an MSM2912-01-x, RS-232 / RS-485 Converter Module. Power ground wires shall be grounded within twelve inches of the unit. Protect power wires with circuit breakers or fuses located close to the electrical power source bus.
