Basic System Information

Choose Main Menu > Settings > General to configure the basic system settings, as shown in the
following figure.
The following table provides the descriptions for all parameters or options displayed.

Device Name
NVR No.
System Language
Description
Name of the NVR
Number of the NVR. The default value for this parameter is 8.
You must enter an NVR number before you can use a monitoring
keyboard to control the corresponding NVR.
However, the NVR1822 and NVR1825 do not support monitoring
keyboards.
